COMMUNITY

“A European CommUnity for Inclusion and Participation"

What the Community Stands For

Citizens, Equality and Values in Action

The OLYMPICEU Community brings together citizens, municipalities and local authorities from Italy and Greece, creating a shared space for dialogue and participation.
It is open to all Europeans who believe in inclusion, equality and active citizenship.
The Community grows beyond the initial partnership, welcoming individuals, associations and institutions across Europe.

  • Promoting dialogue and cooperation between European citizens.
  • Encouraging inclusion and equality in civic participation.
  • Strengthening connections between municipalities and local authorities.
  • Sharing knowledge and experiences across borders.
  • Supporting democratic engagement and European values.

Voices of the OLYMPICEU Community

Citizens and Target Groups

Municipalities and the Project Coordinator

The OLYMPICEU partnership brings together the Ellino-Italiko Epimelitirio Athina and six European municipalities — Pyrgos, Andravida-Kyllini, Ancient Olympia, Crotone, Cirò Marina and Squillace.
Together, they promote dialogue, strengthen local governance and create inclusive spaces for citizens across Italy and Greece.

OLYMPICEU involves citizens of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on those often excluded from civic participation.
The project supports women, youth, older people, ethnic minorities and people with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has a voice in community life.
Local authorities and policymakers are also engaged to promote more inclusive and participatory governance practices.

Civil Society and Associations

European Cooperation and Future Partners

Civil society organizations, NGOs, and local associations play a key role in OLYMPICEU.
They promote inclusion, equality and active citizenship through workshops, community actions and social initiatives.
By connecting citizens and institutions, they help build stronger and more cohesive communities across Europe.T

OLYMPICEU opens its network to new European partners who share the same values of dialogue, inclusion and participation.
By encouraging collaboration between municipalities, institutions and citizens, the project strengthens the sense of belonging to a common European community and promotes the CERV Programme’s mission across borders.
